镜头里是法国式的异域风情，镜头外是中国历史长河的无声倾述。在西方长期生活的中国人，尤其是那个时代出生的北京人，情感和理智上都会掀起波澜，也许只是小溪，但绵长不断。有时候，透过别人的眼睛看自己，会发现心灵深处被遗忘或忽略的风景，如画如诗，如泣如诉。记得林语堂曾说过，法国人是欧洲人中最懂欣赏中国文化的，这是首写给走进现代的历史中国的摄影情诗
