The Russian media, who attened Ju-Hee Lim’s first performance at the concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theatre, made enthusiastic comments about the young girl’s talent.
“On 22 and 23 june 2010 at the concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theatre as part of the Stars of the White Night Festival, the nine-year-old pianist Ju-Hee Lim, Korea’s new wunderkind, performed with the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra under the Valery Gergiev instead of the planned concert featuring the violinist Leonidas Kavakos, who has been forced to cancel his concerts St Petesburg and other European cities due to illness.
The young Korean musician began her solo career at the unprecedented age of nine. Many renowned wunderkinds-such as Evgeny Kissin or Vadim Repin- bagan somewhat later, at the age of twelve or thirteen.”

The great, eclectic, Hungarian pianist Annie Fischer has been praised for her "characteristic intensity" and "effortless manner of phrasing. Her manner and style was more subtle than her actual technique, itself.
Annie Fischer's interpretations of Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Schubert and Schumann, as well as Hungarian composers like Béla Bartók continue to receive the highest praise from pianists and critics even after some 20 years since her death. She was surely remarkable to listen to!
