I agree every athlete has the right for his/her free speech. However when that drug cheat challenge was from a member of a notorious drug abuse team (Australian Men's swimming team) that's just disgusting and funny. And the more disgusting thing is the Australia team "supported" Horton as if they completely "forget" the fact their team openly admitted and apologized in 2013 for their hidden drug (Stilnox) Usage before London Olympic. Actually their London Olympic medals should have been confiscated. Well, if their team could secretly used Stilnox drug for London Olympic, who knows if they have used some other drug for Rio ?
Australia swimming team is a famous notorious drug cheat team. In 2013 Australian men's swim team admitted to using banned sedative Stilnox before London Olympics and lied to cover it up. The entire world knows the ugly drug abuse from Australian team.
Sun Yang should just say "I give every athlete full respect, including those from the country that had team track record of drug violation just few years ago. I could have said things like I don't want to swim with swimmers from such drug cheating countries, but I choose not to. With this said, I don't want to make more comment on this Australian's non sense. Game is on and let's enjoy. next question."
