Thanks Sophia’s Choices, we get to see Asian movies in Chicago!
Today, we went to see the South Korea movie, The Wailing, a horro movie in Halloween!
Since a Japanese comes to the village, people are dying in sick or hang-up. When a policeman starts to investigate the case, he finds out his 8-year-daughter happened one day seeing the Japanese, and then, got fever, started to show girlish face with evil spirit, driven by the ghost, the daughter killed the entire family including her police dad.
It’s the belief in certain areas in Asia, that some people die, but their spirits are still alive in the form of real persons, they could punish the living people. The Japanese thinks the policemen is sinful, so his ghost spirit gets into the policeman’s daughter, and uses the daughter to kill the police entire family.
