Exactly, it's voluntary. Chinese pay the prices, train the workers, and grow the industry strength; Americans enjoys the cheap product, keep staying on the top of the food chain (a.k.a fxxx others). No grudge until now? Because people forgot how to make things and start blaming others for all these? What a prick.

Also, you said "Look at the umbrella you buy from Walmart for $9.99, out of which only $0.99 was paid to Chinese workers (not exactly now, but it was like that 10 years ago). This is sheer exploitation that westerns have been doing for hundreds years." How is this exploitation? It is a voluntary trade amongst American consumers, Walmart, the Chinese suppliers and the Chinese labourers. It is a voluntary trade for each and everyone involved in each and every step of the way. Nobody is forced into such a trade and everyone by the very definition of VOLUNTARY TRADE benefited, as otherwise one of them will not enter into such an agreement. What is exploitation? Please rigorously define this word in rational economic rather than emotional terms.
Now, just to be clear, if someone reneges on the contract agreed upon in prior, then some party will sustain damage. Contract breaching, specifically reneging on the market opening commitment, is the case with the Chinese trade policy. The US is the victim here. If there is an exploitation, China is exploiting and abusing the trust of the US.

What are you talking about? "but opening up banking and Telcom? Are you insulting Chinese's intelligence? They are not stupid enough to let Americans to crush their economy as they wish ". Well then, let's talk about intelligence and the insulting thereof. I think you are insulting everybody's intelligence.
First, did you read what MoatCity was talking about? He said "Then, improve the competitive of your products and industry, the issues will be resolved." Well then, apply the same principle to China then. If you are afraid to be crushed, "then, improve the competitive of your products and industry, the issues will be resolved." That is why I said he was a hypocrite.
Second, I did not invent such a request. China had committed to do just those when it was applying for accession to WTO and had reneged on its own promise ever since. Which part of honoring a contract do you not understand? This is a question of honoring a contract. This is what China itself promised to do. Nobody forced upon them. Breaching a contract IS insulting everyone's intelligence including the Chinese. And if you have no idea what a contract is, your intelligence is questionable.
回复\'大号蚂蚁\':\nNow you are changing topic to talk about history to justify that orange clown thingy. \n\nThe history is simple: it’s the history of developed countries (mostly westerns) exploitation of less developed nations, the dog fights among them. \n\nWith 200 years being bullied, Chinese just don’t want to be in that position. That’s it. Ideology is just lipsticks on a pig (sorry for the cynicism).\n\nNow once a bully, benefiting from the bullying, now winning like clowns blaming being raped by China. What a joke
Americans wanted it this way, and they started it. Look at the umbrella you buy from Walmart for $9.99, out of which only $0.99 was paid to Chinese workers (not exactly now, but it was like that 10 years ago). This is sheer exploitation that westerns have been doing for hundreds years. Google might be a different story, but opening up banking and Telcom? Are you insulting Chinese's intelligence? They are not stupid enough to let Americans to crush their economy as they wish (remember '97 Asian Market Crash?). Modern fair trade agreement does protect developing countries, and it's a common practice to do that. Plus, wake up, it's not about fair trade dude.
Americans have been enjoying the trade with China for 30 years, and now they regret it (or jealous, scared even?). Come on.
Wow, did I hear it right? A liberal leftist talking about free market competitiveness? Why then doesn't China listen to you and let American banks, telecommunications, and Google and other firms freely enter the China market instead of setting up all sorts of barriers and tariffs to protect their firms of inferior quality, reneging on the commitments to WTO made almost two decades ago? Of course, we should not be surprised. Hypocrisy has been the hallmark of the liberal left socialists since their birth.
