  盐湖城，犹他州的首府，1847年为摩门教徒所建，美国摩门教的主要中心。摩门圣殿是盐湖城的标志，也是全世界摩门教徒的圣地, 是一座哥德式典雅古朴的大建筑物。 在盐湖城，犹他州政府内大厅、摩门圣徒广场、摩门小教堂、大礼拜堂以及摩门历史艺术博物馆等，都是旅游的热点之地。
