BREAKING: Sex Crimes Prosecutor Rachel Mitchell COMPLETELY EXONERATES Judge Kavanaugh in NEW REPORT!
“Dr. Ford has not offered a consistent account of when the alleged assault happened.”
“Dr. Ford struggled to identify Judge Kavanaugh as the assailant by name.”
“When speaking with her husband, Dr. Ford changed her description of the incident to become less specific.”
“Dr. Ford has no memory of key details of the night in question—details that could help corroborate her account.”
“She does not remember in what house the alleged assault took place or where that house was located with any specificity.”
“Perhaps most importantly, she does not remember how she got from the party back to her house.”
Rachel Mitchell reaches the conclusion that ““A ‘he said, she said’ case is incredibly difficult to prove. But this case is even weaker than that.”
In perhaps her most damning finding, Rachel Mitchell writes that “The activities of congressional Democrats and Dr. Ford’s attorney’s likely affected her account”. Mitchell ostensibly alleges that the maneuvering of congressional Democrats, and the actions of her attorneys, who acted more like handlers, influenced her account of events, and perhaps even her truthfulness. This may have come out as Mitchell’s lines of questioning were repeatedly interrupted by her attorneys, namely Michael Bromwich, who also represents Andrew McCabe.
MoatCity: Totally agree. I bet most people on wxc didn't have much first encounter with the high school and college fraternity culture.
The "me too" movement has changed the political tide since Trump's "locker room talk" excuse. Before the "me too" movement, one probably can get away with boys are just boys. Not anymore. It is going to be pretty hard to persuade women audiences. Quite frankly I only interested how to maintain power balance at the supreme court.
If we understand the culture, specifically the high-school culture in the US, most likely it happened. He tried to group her, without success. Alcohol was probably involved. Some people would say, what is a big deal, we all were young once, boys are boys. Some other people would say, that this event is a representation of this guy's character, and he is not qualified to be the Supreme court judge. I don't think the candidate has been as pure as he has portrayed himself to be, and I have a gut feeling that he also may have drinking issue. Well, nobody is a saint! The best way to do is to have FBI do a objective investigation, and report to the public. If he is confirmed, then majority think that it is no big deal, and the country would need to live with it.
GOD is also playing politics here, and in 2016, they forcefully delayed Obama's nomination, and it really hurt the credibility of the political system in the U.S.
Funny, sometimes I wonder, two sides would reach totally different conclusion over the same matter, I wonder if this system in which the truth is perceived on the basis of 50%-50%, is better, or the other system, in which consensus is reached, is better.
The longer I live in this country, the more imperfection I have seen.
