I was marvelling at the beauty of Chinese saying, 可遇而不可求, jumped out of my mind. At the same time, I was thinking about a little poster, kind of motto prepared by my daughter. I could not recall the exact wordings, it goes like "the harder you work. the luckier you get. Be prepared to seize the opportunity".
I think that I just got the perfect translation of 可遇而不可求, opportunity awaits the prepared.
