真是一个有远见且深刻的人啊！即便当今在欧美推动下的民主（颜色革命）不断造成动乱、战争、国破家亡的情况下，依然有不少人对民主单相思，觉得只要有民主一切就都解决了，民主哪怕少一点，出了任何问题都可以归结到民主头上！不得不佩服李光耀，几十年前就看透了！?

    来信收到了。看到小时候的照片，不禁想起了许多往事。好吃的吃过了，好玩的玩过了，特权生活享受过了，十几年真是过着花花公子的生活。靠着父母干革命，自以为了不起，自封为革命的当然接班人。真是幼稚、单纯而又自负、可笑。经过不到一年的和工农结合，我才真正清楚地认识了自己。革命意志的动摇，在困难面前软弱无力，对问题缺乏分析，社会经验少得可怜；肩不能挑，手不能提，不会做的事情太多了。

    这都是十七年特权生活所造成的，使我们成了饭来张口，衣来伸手，只知从校门到家门的精神贵族。这就是产生修正主义的苗圃。

没有和工农结合，尽管嘴上说得再好，也是空的。只有和工农兵相结合，真正了解他们，和他们同呼吸、共命运，才能把自己和革命事业联系起来，才能真正为全国、全世界大多数人服务。只有和工农相结合，才能把过去小资产阶级知识分子那一套彻底丢掉，树立起革命的人生观。
