When We Are Paused
With the human world orchestra forced into intermission,
Nature's melody continues.
Spring comes as expected,
Birds singing,
Flowers blooming.
Humankind becomes hungry audience.
Then
We start to hear the sound that was not being heard,
We begin to see things we have overlooked too long.
We realize love and friendship are not measured by distance,
We learn that human freedom can be challenged by cunning microvirus.
We appreciate every single note attributed to the human orchestra.
We are yearning to be back on stage.
Humbled by the sun, that rises in the East every morning,
Calmed by the moon, that projects serenity deeply in our heart,
We believe Godot is yet to come.
Because we know
In the darkest sky,
There are always stars.
We just need to remember,
To look up !
