“No offense, I feel that I am entitled, and we can do better”

The other day I asked my daughter, a liberal, what could be the most common reason why there is a such disconnect between my generation and hers. She replied "no offense, I know that you and mom work hard, and you are in general sympathetic to others, we are more passionate because this is my country, I feel that I am entitled. I grow up here, I feel like that we can do better as a country"

I am proud of her regardless of her political views.  We have our disagreements, and they will most likely remain.
