这是2007年写的歌。想把上一代人的故事写成小说，“连续剧”的插曲写好十几年了，小说还没动笔！

这首歌2011年在唱坛发表第一版时没有后面的副歌。现加上了一段欢快的副歌。写这首歌时刚开始学写歌，还不太能掌握各种民歌，歌成，感觉比较偏向北方曲调，但蛮好听的。等完全不受此曲干扰，有感觉时，再另谱一首南方的曲调。

我的小说如果能写成的话，主人公的原型大概会是我听说的但并没有太多来往的一位长辈。高中时就参加了革命工作，曾反抗父母包办的婚姻，但后来的自由恋爱并不如意。第一个喜欢的对象没能如愿娶回家。。。

谨以此歌追思天堂上的父母亲，感谢他们的养育之恩！
