Did you see the news about DC today? Protesters stormed the Capitol building after White House rally and One died during the incident. Some are saying American is having a new cold civil war. The pandemic and the chaos in the US make me feel very stressed.
Anyway, I think reading ancient poems is like meditation, it can calm down our mind. Thank you all for the encouragement and thanks for 忒綠 give me the inspiration. I dare to do the translation. it’s too hard.
Today’s poem still is from 張九齡. I especially like the very first two sentences.
江南有丹橘， 经冬犹绿林
I am from 江南, but I have no idea if the orange tree still green during the winter time.
