我舅公自称讲一口上海洋泾滨与广府/港台音英语,他生活在唐人街带地方囗音的美英语。他讲拼几个英语单词,无语句,无时态。讲法语,无动词变位。即便如此,他生意与西洋人任来往!

后来我留意英国辞典用广府(即广州)/港台音标人名地名物名. e.g., 孙逸仙 (Sun Yat-sen)、蒋介石 (Chiang Kai-shek)、广州 (Canton)、香港 (Hong Kong)、功夫 (Kung fu)、豆腐 Tofu, 十七世纪西洋人从香港入广州. 事实上,生活在西方世界,不怕洋泾滨港台音, 就怕你不敢开口呻。发扬光大洋泾滨港台音!

"何曾几时，每当有著名的中国人讲英语，必遭来国人一片哗然，嘲笑的，批评的，谩骂的，甚至上升到国格，人格的高度，英语不就是一个工具，至于吗？

前不久，小米老总雷军在印度说英语的视频传到中国，遭来一片吐槽，说他丢人丢到国外去了。打开视频，我被感动了，雷军操着超级烂的英语，敢在母语是英语的印度，大声的喊英语，台上台下热烈的互动，这是一份多么强烈的自信，会一句，就说一句，比一句不会，一句不说，像个傻子一样站在那里强一百倍，难怪人家的事业做的那么大。

中央电视台一个记者用英语采访非洲国家的总统，又遭来批评，什么口音重，中式英语，相反人家老外倒说他，说得很好啊！姑且不说英语怎样，人家影响采访了没有？对方听懂没有？目的达到没有？一切效果都很好，有点口音，有点不足有什么好指责的？"

上海洋泾滨与广府/港台音英语
上海洋涇濱與廣府/港台音英語

洋泾浜，原是上海的一条河浜，位于从前的公共租界和法租界之间，后来被填成一条马路，即今天的延安东路。所谓“洋泾浜英语”，是指不讲语法，按中国话“字对字”地转成的英语。它最初是十九世纪中外商人使用的混杂语言，只有口头形式，没有统一的书面形式，而且变体很多。

洋泾滨英语（pidgin english）即混杂英语，混合英语，英汉夹杂语，母语或者其他语言与英语混合在一起说。洋泾滨英语也叫皮钦语，为英文“pidgin”的音译，俗称“洋泾浜”（读yáng jīng bāng ，源于上海一处靠近租界的地名），属于“混合语”, 以前特指是华人、葡萄牙人和英国人在中国从事贸易的联系语言，现已泛指带地方囗音的美/英语. 民国时期的上海,一些为招揽外国人生意的小摊贩,没法系统的学习外语,靠自己摸索出来的一些发音不标准的日常售货用的英语.被所谓的上等人看不起,称之为洋泾滨.

从纯粹语言学的观点看，只是语言发展的一个阶段，指在没有共同语言而社会交际中语言混合的产物。
