赌城之外奇景

       四月份在Las Vegas大学同学聚会。以前去过的赌城多次，见识体验了赌场、酒店、美食、购物、表演，游览过附近的胡佛大坝。而今Vegas依然灯红酒绿，纸醉金迷，街上弥漫着大麻的味道。此行却喜出望外找到了更好的去处。
       红岩峡谷(Red Rock Canyon )，距Vegas约20英里。亿万年前的海底世界经地壳剧烈运动之后形成了现在的红岩峡谷，独特的红砂岩与灰白的石灰岩层层叠起，奇石罗列，山峦起伏。

 

火焰谷州立公园(Valley of Fire)距Vegas约50英里，其景色更是奇特壮观。150多万年前恐龙世纪时，地质运动作用和风水侵蚀砂岩和沙丘形成了今天的地理形态，荒漠中兀立，仿佛世外仙园。此地曾被印地安人认为是圣地，在红色的砂岩之上还留有许多的壁画。火焰谷以红沙岩火焰波浪和白穹岩最为著名.
此处曾是《变形金刚》、《人猿星球》等多部电影的外景地。
