Yes, shelve the political point scoring. The Biden admin chose to embrace what Trump set in motion. The entire American political and military establishment, as well as the adjacent pundit class, owns this debacle. And it's ordinary Afghans paying the price. https://t.co/jUe6ygM7NP
Unconscionable. The US military had an airbase in Bagram. Total disregard for human lives when not your own https://t.co/8ojsN5X9Sy

引用“Why winning and losing are irrelevant in Syria and Afghanistan, Max Boot “这篇文章可惜在我看来刚好反驳了这篇文章和你的观点-撒军是失败。

Pakistan and the United States Have Betrayed the Afghan People
https://foreignpolicy.com/2021/08/16/pakistan-united-states-afghanistan-taliban/
...much of U.S. investment did not stay in Afghanistan. Because of heavy reliance on a complex ecosystem of defense contractors, Washington banditry, and aid contractors, between 80 and 90 percent of outlays actually returned to the U.S. economy. Of the 10 to 20 percent of the contracts that remained in the country, the United States rarely cared about the efficacy of the initiative. Although corruption is rife in Afghanistan, the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction repeatedly identifies bewildering corruption by US. firms and individuals working in Afghanistan.
