Chen Liang, a photographer born in the 1980s, is a native of Guangdong, but since 2007, he has immersed himself into the alleys of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, fascinated by the kind people and quaint lifestyle there. In more than 10 years, he has taken more than 100,000 photos and a large number of videos, recording the final images of Jiangnan Canal Town, and a series of his works have been nominated for the Hou Dengke Documentary Photography Award, and have won the China SAP Art Award for Photographic Artist of the Year and other awards. However, as alleys disappear, this kind of friendly and simple life is gone with it.
