The grooves you carve
The grooves you carve
half a mile long
in gray scale
major and minor
flat and sharp
sing chord and dischord
born ages ago
from the colored waves
from your fingers combing through my black hair
and the sparks that blind my eyes
The grooves you carve
wind in my cortex
wrinkled and fissured
deep and shallow
The grooves you carve
sing eternally
although you vanish with the sapphire stylus

Darya Falay Goldmann - I like the style and word combination you used. Really interesting to read and feel the poem
