I hate policemen because I've got two speeding tickets from the speed traps around my home. The cops are set up to meet the quota so they hide inside the bushes waiting for you. And there is a place where speed limits suddenly change from 45 mph to 35 mph. For anyone who doesn't pay attention or doesn't know the difference, they get caught. There's not even a speed limits sign around the intersection. From then on, whenever I see a police car or even a white Dodge Charger around, my heart sinks. Whenever I hear a siren, I feel suffocated. Yes, I absolutely loathe the cops. They're no doubt corrupted and greedy and I don't trust them at all! The first time I got a ticket was on a Tuesday after Labor Day, the cops were hiding around the two consecutive school zones. I wasn't very experienced and not aware the speed limits had changed. Policemen are awful because they are predators and we're the prey. And they are heavily armed and brutal so you'd better not confront them, otherwise you are gonna die. And dead people cannot come back to life, therefore there's no real justice for police brutality. If they kill you, it's your loss, not theirs.
回复 'voiceofme' 的评论 : 可以去查查美国最高法院的判例。警察没有义务去保护你,而是维持社会秩序和治安。警察不是谁的私人保镖。Police are government workers, salaries paid from government coffers — tax dollars and, yes, fines, sanctions, penalties, fees, and surcharges. Most people think that the police have an obligation (“duty”) to protect the citizens in the jurisdictions they serve. Many police forces even have a motto along the lines of “To Protect and Serve.” The unfortunate reality is that the police are under no obligation to protect you. The police do not even have an obligation to respond to your call for help. https://trafficlawguys.com/police-have-no-obligation-to-protect-citizens/
