As John Magee's grandson I can assure you that these atrocities did take place. His letters home to his family and his films are testimony to this.

I'm confused. Is that John Magee narrating at the end? He's calling this his films but obviously too young

@MrThermostatic  That's an actor reading and paraphrasing my grandfather's diaries.

While a Japanese consistently telling me on Tiktok that the Nanjing massacre was faked by Chinese government, the precious work of your brave grandfather shows me the real aspect of that horrible war and the crime comitted by japanese army! This can be counted to the worst parts of the human history! With the best wish and thank to your grandfaher and your family, thank you so much for let us know what our people has suffered just because we were weak and under developed.

@Chris Magee, you may be interested to learn a book was recently given to a pawn shop with photographs from Nanjing during the invasion and Massacre. The owner and pawn shop owner are having the photographs checked for legitimacy and have decided the book in its enirety must go to a museum where all photos will be shown. His name is Evan Kail.

@Jynxx7167  Thanks for this good news. This book, if authentic, should be donated to a museum, which has expert scholars on the subject, to determine its legitimacy. The Nanjing Memorial Hall in Nanjing China, which is a massive museum dedicated to the memory of the Nanjing massacre, is such a place. My family donated the camera, which my grandfather used to film atrocities of the Nanjing Massacre, to this museum. I have spent a lot of time there.
