马太福音第十八章第11—14节,耶稣说他来是要拯救那些走迷路(即失丧)的人。耶稣在这里打了一个比喻,说一个人一百只羊里有一只走迷路了,他要撇下那九十九只去山里把它找回,找到后就为这只找回的羊欢喜。那九十九只没迷路的羊却很悲催,因为它们被撇在了旷野。其实耶稣用这九十九只羊比喻那些自以为义自认为自己没迷路的,而罗马书里说“没有义人,连一个也没有,都是偏离正路”,以赛亚书更是直接说“我们都如羊走迷,个人偏行己路”。因此,这让我们明白了为什么这九十九只没迷路的羊不能得救。
太18:11 〔人子来为要拯救失丧的人〕
For the Son of Man came to save that which was lost.
太18:12 一个人若有一百只羊、一只走迷了路、你们的意思如何.他岂不撇下这九十九只、往山里去找那只迷路的羊么。
"What do you think? If a man has one hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, doesn't he leave the ninety-nine, go to the mountains, and seek that which has gone astray?
太18:13 若是找着了、我实在告诉你们、他为这一只羊欢喜、比为那没有迷路的九十九只欢喜还大呢。
If he finds it, most certainly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray.
太18:14 你们在天上的父、也是这样不愿意这小子里失丧一个。
Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
