Can't agree more! Shakespeare once said, “There are a thousand hamlets in a thousand people's eyes.”
Thank you so much for your comments. Much appreciated!

One word to Mr.无法弄: I got a Kobo Ereader, and there's no need to have Wifi to read a book with all the books already downloaded. I never waste a minute while waiting at the restaurant or Taekwondo. My little book of 5 by 7 inches is always available. I can put it into my purse. The books on this Ereader are cheap and even free because you can borrow books from the local digital libraries with a membership. It's enormous fun to have it because the classics are never expensive: Charles Dickens, George Eliot, H.G. Wells,etc... those authors have no charge for copyrights anymore.

I always try to find things for my children to do. In our neighborhood Ryu's Taekwondo is a very popular place, many parents want to give it a try. The owner, Master Ryu, is a very nice guy. My daughter has already got her black belt and the first star for black belt starter. My older son is in there too. It's a good thing that kids get things to do after school instead of playing video games or watching Youtube shorts all the time. They have Kumon and AoPS, violin and piano.
My little boy starts playing cello now. And I'd put him in Taekwondo next year when he reaches 7 years old.
We also go to the synagogue on Sundays to have community activities. The Jewish people here are a very interesting group. The majority of them are secular Jews that never attend the religious services but like to put their kids in the Sunday school to learn Hebrew and do art and craft, and play group games. It's so different from the Christian worshipers. Christians put church services above the community bonding. There's a monthly or yearly due for members of the Jewish community center.
We have tried horse riding class but it's quite expensive on top of the other things we do so I didn't resume it. One word, you get to find things for kids to do and spend money. It depends on where and how you want to direct them. Fishing is free but only for summer, horse riding for good weather only, etc...
Kumon is my #1 choice for after school tutoring because it's the most affordable and it's next door to the Taekwondo studio. Kids need to learn to be self reliant and be responsible for their own studies, and Kumon teaches them that. Kumon doesn't teach them directly what to do, they have to struggle to find it out. I give them some help and they can move on.
