你娃很聪明，这么小就会计划这么多的事情。小时候看过中文的，除了觉得纳粹很残暴，没有其他政治理解。我哥不知道从那搞到的禁书。

我也是在很小的时候阅读过这本书，但是很遗憾没有读完，也是同样的原因。
孩子最初考虑阅读和原因主要有两点：第一是他已经厌倦了阅读dday或者斯大林格勒或者北非之类纯战争场景。第二是家长想让孩子领会到二战产生的国际背景，经济背景，社会文化背景和政治因素。这本书作为经典之一，就成了不能绕过的环节，并且家长手里也只有这一本类似的书籍。
其实对于阅读学术类历史书籍，情感反而应该放在需要地位，对历史事件的因果分析应该在理智的指导下完成。同时历史类书籍也从来不会只阅读一本，往往应该兼收并蓄，最终形成自己的理解。

I read this book at 12 years old. It's extremely lengthy and boring. And the premise was wrong. There was not a single word criticizing Hitler and Nazism, let alone expose the horror of killing 6 million Jews. The entire book feels like Nazi propaganda. You'd feel sad because at the end "the third Reich" fell.
I didn't finish reading it because the rise and fall were both terrible to me.
Now I understand it's praising the rise and lamenting the fall of pure evil!
