回复 悄悄话 I had the same idea that she used to create her business at about the same time(2004?). It was inspired by a DARPA project (nothing secret). Her mother has connections to the defense department and may learned that project. But there were too many uncertainties so I did not do anything (let alone there could be conflict of interest). It was possible to work out something not as big as she proposed. Today there are startups working on the same idea(quick test of biomarkers). The technology for biomarker detection is much better today than 20 years ago.
