Sirens

Sirens

Sirens, three dangerous bird-women,
Their song so charming, enchanting mortal men.
Yet only two heroes, true and bold,
Escaped their lure, a story oft told.

One, with his lyre's enchanting solo,
Drowned their voices, left them hollow.
Another, with ears stopped tight,
Sailed past their isle, avoiding fright.

Though their music lingers in the air,
No men are seen bound to masts there.
