 I don't know why, but I found that hilarious.

She is portrayed as the most level-headed, pragmatic, and sensible of all the sisters. Perhaps there’s some wisdom to her viewpoint, not taking everything to heart. She outlived all her sisters and gave the most births, 26—not an easy feat. What could she do about her husband’s infidelity? Make herself miserable thinking about them, dwelling on them? Argue with him? It would’ve been to no avail. She chose her happiness despite her circumstances.
