“啊要辣油啊？”这是一句独属于南京人的暗号级问候语。几乎所有南京人的童年记忆，都和那一碗“柴火馄饨”牵扯不清，而南京方言里更有一个词就叫——喝（ho）馄饨。
又见炊烟柴火馄饨，是老两口坚持了33年的老铺子。沿着石板路，从老门东走到三条营的巷子尽头，就能看见它。简陋的屋棚，烧得正旺的柴火灶台，和袅袅升起的阵阵炊烟。

在热闹繁华的新街口地段，有一家简陋破旧的“非常小吃”。店内只有七张桌子，没有菜单，客人来了后就直接从笼罩里端走喜欢吃的菜，给老板烧，吃完再付钱。
每天一到饭点，这家小店门口就会站满客人，俨然成为周围公司的“食堂”。
