2006年12月31日，南京一建筑施工工地为在工地施工的民工搭起了10多间“夫妻房”，此“夫妻房”是由每间临时搭建面积仅有10多平米的工房，用木板简单分隔成四间，尽管用帘子分隔开后的“夫妻房”只有3、4平米，但还是为远离家门在外打工的民工，创造了夫妻团圆的机会。
