在饱受自己的失言造成的多方压力下，莎朗-斯通(Sharon Stone)再次为自己早前对中国四川地震所发表的言论表示道歉，在周三(6月4日)发表的声明中，莎朗-斯通表示：“最近有太多关于我在戛纳电影节上那番言论的报道了。我希望通过我的这番发自内心的声明来结束一些误会。是的，我说错话了，我对自己措辞失误感到无比后悔，但那些话真的是无意的，我不想伤害任何人。整件事是我的心不在焉加新闻炒作造成的意外事故，我对四川的灾民所受到的伤害深感难过。” 这是她最新的道歉声明，上周，她曾简短发表过类似言论：“我为自己对中国人民造成的伤害感到抱歉和伤心。”
这位曾出演《本能》的女明星，去年曾受邀前往上海国际电影节，但今年，上海国际电影节将其拒之门外。
以下为莎朗-斯通周三道歉原文："There have been numerous reports about what I said in Cannes. I would like to set the record straight about what I feel in my heart and end all of the misunderstandings. Yes, I misspoke. I could not be more regretful of that mistake. It was unintentional. I apologize, those words were never meant to be hurtful to anyone, they were an accident of my distraction and a product of news sensationalism. I am deeply saddened by the pain that this whole situation has caused the victims of the devastating earthquake in China."
