孙宁和王学兵因在电视剧《忘不了》中演情侣而结缘。今年4月7日，孙宁和王学兵趁着拍戏的空档秘密去登记。领证时，两人极其低调，甚至连王学兵的哥哥也是事后通过媒体才得知的。孙宁表示，举行婚礼公布婚讯，是对亲戚朋友的尊重，是对媒体的尊重，更是对婚姻本身的尊重，“毕竟我们不想再听到人们老问‘你们到底结没结’这类问题”。
