A bloody lesson learned from the on-going Russia-Ukraine war is that a military alliance for the democratic free world is the best deterrence against the blood-thirsty totalitarian regimes in Russia, as well as China. It is also the most effective and least costly way to protect the common interests of all.
As Russia invades Ukraine, China is eyeing weaker nations of Taiwan, Vietnam and the Philippines etc. In addition, China just had a brief fatal border dispute with India. Once the war breaks out, there is no more peace not only in Taiwan, but also in China. Therefore, Indo-Pacific region needs a NATO to maintain peace that is in danger of being destroyed by China's pending invasion.
Let's face it. The average Americans know little about China, nor do they have interests in China. Politicians like Marco Rubio are doing great jobs keeping China in check. But they lack the first-hand experiences with the evil CCP.

A NATO-like military alliance in Asia is a sure thing in the near future to counter China's aggression in the region. Without it, peace will not last for long as Xi is already planning his invasion of Taiwan.

Now he proposes the "北大西洋印太公约组织"? for what? it is for the USA to control whoever joins, but the USA already controls Japan, S. Korea and Taiwan. This "北大西洋印太公约组织" can not control China (just like Nato, it can not Control Russia).
