Chinese Olympian Eileen Gu Working for Salt Lake Games Bid

Tom Kelly, a spokesman for the bid committee, confirmed Gu's participation to The Associated Press on Tuesday as an “athlete representative." Gu made the announcement earlier at the Time100 Summit, calling herself an “ambassador.”
“She is working with us," Kelly said, “but we haven't chosen her exact title.”

Americans mostly do not care which country Eileen Gu chose to represent at the Olympics. Quite frankly, most of them do NOT watch Olympics.
What they do not know is that Gu is ineligible to represent China as the Chinese Laws prohibit dual citizenship and Gu didn't renounce her US citizenship. Yet she joined the Team China anyways.
Now, Gu claimed herself to be the ambassador for the Utah Olympic bid committee even there was no official appointment. Her dishonesty and the lack of integrity resemble the traits of many people in China. She should be China's ambassador.
“Kelly, the Salt Lake spokesman, said Gu would not travel next week to Lausanne, Switzerland, with a delegation from Salt Lake to meet IOC officials. Kelly said the head of the bid, Fraser Bullock, and American skier Lindsey Vonn would be going.
七郎, not sure you and your family live in the USA. Gu made a very bad sample for Chinese American. Most American thought that your Chinese all like her and not belong to this country. So why need to be treated like American. We, Chinese American, all pay price for Gu's behavior. If any body can stop her?

我只关注她的双重国籍问题，中国不承认双重国籍。至于说她体育优秀，能说会道，是另一方面的事情。

Mark my words. Eileen Gu will regret for what she and her opportunist mother have done. The US and China are decoupling and the animosity is going up everyday. Those exploiting loopholes to enrich themselves will pay a dear price in the end.
