I am saddened to hear the news that Queen Elizabeth II passed away this afternoon. This is probably due to my connection to UK when I spent my last four year education over there. During that time, I had a chance experiencing the profound depth of British culture and education, and witnessing the impact of Queen Elizabeth II and royal family on the British daily life and world peace. I am affected by her kindness, love and dignity. I always thought that she is one of the greatest persons in the world. I cannot even hold my tear and wish her to rest in peace.
To 天台坐客:一个简单的例子。当年南非人民也做出了选择，结果现在南非变成了乱七八糟的国家。其实人本性中都有贪婪、懒惰以及自大。让全人类都做出选择，那结果就是地球无法承受，也就是全人类的毁灭。民主和自由必须有一个限度，就像现在全球的气候危机，如果有一个强有力的全球政府，才可能解决问题。微观上的民主和自由只能将人类的贪婪发挥到及至，结果就是大家抱着一起灭亡而已。
