China is a lawless nation. Its people don't give a shit to any treaties, laws, or regulations. The outside world only got to know this starting with China's accession into the WTO 20 years ago. China has left most its obligations unfulfilled.
The US has finally learned it the hard way. Now it stands firm to China. The message is loud and clear: if China does not comply with the rules, it will be kicked out.
