It's really not a very big incentive for people to dive into.
Because it means you'll have to be trained for months, if not a year for a life long career and then you stay in the factory forever!
Who the hell wants to work for an automaker or semiconductor company for life?
It's hard work in manufacturing. Factory workers have to work super early shifts or overnight shifts and factories are usually located way outside the cities. That means wee hours commute to work everyday or get back home at 2 am.
Remember, those factories never close, it opens 24-7. And you'll have to agree to work with its schedules.
