You ought to know how to compare the value between different positions. Leadership is one of the most important criteria on the court. Yao Ming didn't show his leadership to his teammates.

Lin is a new guy and understands he has to play harder, harder, harder....for himself,for his future, for his brothers, for his parents...He carries so much now.

If he can keep up he will take over Yao Ming's market in Asia and China. However, it's too early to say that.

If you watch the video, most of the shots he made was easy and open shots (Lakers was watching him and bet: are you sure You can make this shot? Looks like he only made three tough shots.)

If he can make tough shots after his opponents take care of him seriously, then we can say is a rising star shining in the sky.
