Romney may not be the best representative the Republicans could have selected. At least I know what religion he is, and that he won't desecrate the flag, bow down to foreign powers, or squander my money on vacations. I know he has the ability to turn this financial debacle that the "Spending President" has gotten us into. We didn't know that when Obama said he'd give us change, he meant nickels and dimes, and he would get the big bucks. We won’t like all the things necessary torecover from this debt, but someone with Romney’s background can do it.
But, on the minus side, He never was a "Community Organizer", never took drugs or smoked pot. Never got drunk. Did not associate with communists or terrorists. Nor did he attend a church whose pastor called for God to damn the US.

我看好多人都在谈富人穷人的问题，其实大家已经陷入了奥巴马为我们布下的怪圈，那就是仇恨所谓的富人。说实话，富人和穷人的问题，就好像鸡生蛋，蛋生鸡。没有富人，穷人就没有饭吃，(forget about Obama's free lunch, it's not gotta last long. ) 反过来，没有穷人，富人就没人为他干活，创造财富！所以两者是相辅相成的，缺一不可。既然是这样唇齿相依的关系，那互相仇恨对谁有利呢？-- 对选票有利！
四年下来，事实印证了我的判断，奥巴马实在是没有任何真才实学配当美国总统。可是在他的嘴里，一切的错都是布什的，难道他当初上台的时候不知道他面临的是个什么样的烂摊子吗？他曾经在2009年初刚上台时，踌躇满志，信誓旦旦的红口白牙在电视机前对大家说，他要是在3年后不能把债务减半，他主动辞职，“this will be a one term proposition" (******youtube***/watch?v=CCN5-ovvFL0), 他自己說"I will be held accountable"。现在是他需要负责任的时候了，他不但没有一点担当，反而怪罪他的前任，并且大肆攻击竞选对手Romney 的成功. 这样人格的人，不够资格当一国之君！
至于Romney，我在几个月前对他还一无所知，因为我支持的是Rick Perry。可是有一件事让我对他印象深刻。那时他和Rick Perry正在激烈竞选中，忽然Rick因为家事需要离开三天，Romney知道后，本应该乘胜追击，可是他却出人意料的让他的竞选团队把三天的广告和拉票活动全部暂停，因为他认为这才是公平竞争。我当时就对他的人品肃然起敬。于是在Rick Perry 退选后，我仔细研究了Romney的政绩和网上关于他的一些传闻，here's what I get:
他在麻省的四年间，Romney took office Jan. 2, 2003 and left office Jan. 4, 2007). In the 12 months before he took office, the state ranked 50th in job creation, and for his first 12 months in office, that remained 50th. But by his final year the state ranked 28th. 麻省的新工作职位从全国最后一名的50名，上升到第28名，这个不需要什么证明，这是事实。很多人想方设法地deny the fact，用不同的方法统计出不是28是30，不是50 是47， 不管是多少，一个不可争辩的事实就是在Romney当政的四年间，麻省的经济回升了，财政扭亏为盈了，这都证明他是个有能力的人，是当今美国经济低迷不振情况下迫切需要的人才。
犹他冬奥会，由于出了申奥行贿和腐败丑闻，当时的冬奥会筹备工作几乎停摆，部分赞助商吵着要退出，甚至有人提出冬奥会应该另择他国。在这种情形下，Romney临危受命，于1999年2月从Bain Capital 退休，接手冬奥会这个烫手山芋。他接手后，重新联系新的赞助商，争取资金，鼓舞士气，最终在丑闻和911恐怖袭击的双重阴影下，成功举办了冬奥会！这也足以证明Romney具有不畏艰险的能力，勇气和魄力，这难道不是美国现在最需要的吗？有人指责他在冬奥会的成绩是政府出钱的功劳，甚至有人暗示他花了太多的钱，但是他们却无视一个最重要的环节，那就是这时离911发生才6个月，大部分的资金都花在保安和警备上。说那些风凉话的人如果不是居心叵测，那就只有愚昧。
