In Chinese cities, people are much more friendlier than any other cities in US or Europe, that is how I feel nowadays. Of course, in country side, American and European are more friendlier. BUT, it is already show how friendly Chinese can be once they are educated and self sufficient!

Hitchhiking can be dangerous. Most American drivers do not pick up hitchhikers nowadays. You never know if that person is a real hitchhiker or a criminal.
