Those guys have their head in the sand and overestimate China's influence. Before you seek your 话语权, first make sure you speak the same language as other people. If China continue to speak the anti-democratic, one-party-dictatorship, and cultural-backward language, few people are going to listen to you, even when you have the biggest economy.
