Sad Movies: 一首60年代美國大學生和台灣大學生的流行歌曲
60年代初，我還是大一的學生，那時候在台灣唯一的娛樂就是看電影。那年頭也許是跟美國人學的，流行在放正式電影之前，先會放一段世界新聞，再放一段彩色卡通。這首歌是說一位女生在電影院看電影，竟然在剛熄燈開始放映世界新聞的時候，發現自己的男友和自己的閨蜜竟然走了進來坐在自己前座。她好傷心，就在自己的男友開始親吻自己閨蜜的時候，也正好是卡通片放映一半的時候，她開始哭泣了。因爲那場景很合我們在台灣的電影院的情景，所以這首歌在當年非常熱門。一直到現在，如果失戀的男女青年在被人看到傷心的時候，如果別人問他或她爲何流淚，就會說：是因爲這部“悲劇電影”讓自己哭了。
