Bicycle plan pushed

TransLink board members will be asked to do $500,000 worth of catch-up spending on bicycles when they meet next Wednesday.
The $500,000 is being requested as part of the 2005 capital program projects but it's for the 2004 TransLink bicycle infrastructure program.
The plan would encourage more bike use through such improvements as more bike lockers, bike racks for buses and bicycle path improvements.
