Okay. I had this “medical development” on one of my fingers for quite some time. It doesn’t hurt or anything, just kind of annoying.
So I finally went to see the doctor this AM.
He took one look at it and said (matter-of-factly) it’s ____.
Then said we need to “freeze” it.
Hmmm. I said to myself – that’s one fancy jargon that I never heard of.
And as I asked every single doctor that I ever see, in the most serious manner, I said does it hurt?
The doctor said the 8-year-old can stand it though the 6 or 7 may cry.
So he shot a look at me as if to say there is no way you’re getting out of it you old oldie.
Well. It’s not like there is anything I can do anyway.
It turned out that by “freeze” he meant to “freeze” as in “the weather is cold my finger is frozen off”.
And my pain-tolerance level is aged about 7 and a half. ; )
