Chinese Wonton Soup (鲜虾猪肉馄饨)

Ingredients:
For the filling: 1 lb ground pork. 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled, devined, and finely chopped. 2 bundles of green onions, finely chopped. 1 teaspoon salt. 1.5 cups of water. Some cooking oil, soy sauce and finely chopped ginger (optional).
3 packages of wonton wrapper (44 wrappers/package)

1. For the filling, mix all the ingredients together. Water should be added a little bit at a time.


2. To make wonton, put some filling in the middle of the wonton wrapper. Seal all sides. You can make it into whatever shape you like, this is how my wonton looks like.


3. Cook wontons in boiling water for 3 minutes, remove them from water into your favorite soup. I normally use chicken broth with some Chinese vegetables and/or seaweeds.
