I'm not sure if the author actually meant to mimic some haiku, but the product was extremely beautiful and moving,

廊坊下雪了
已经是很厚的一层
并且仍然在下

if 廊坊 had been 京都, and if we had read this from a classic haiku book, I bet everyone will suddenly realize what an exceptional moment was captured,
