Breakfast provide the energy for you to kick off a day. In a busy weekday, breakfast is a bowl of cereal, or oat meal with coffee and juice. Weekend is the time to enjoy the breakfast and relax.
Oatmeal scones and cheesy sausage omelet:
Here are the ingredients:
unbleached flour
brown sugar
baking powder
dash of salt
1/3 cold butter cut into smal pieces
cold milk
rolled oatmeal
cinimon sugar
Mix the dry ingredients together. Cut the butter into the dry ingredients. Add milk till just moist and get together. Shape into a round with 3/4 inch thick. Make sure don't work the dough too long. The scones will not be flaky when it is done.
Cut equal 6 pieces. Line a parchment paper on a baking sheet. Arrange the scones on the baking pan.
Brush each scone with milk. Spinkle the rolled oatmeal and cinimon sugar on top of each scones.
Bake in pre heated oven 375F for 18 minutes or until they are golden brown:
Cheesy sausage omelet:
3 eggs
chopped sausage
sliced olive
sliced mushroom
Shredded chedar cheese
1 tsp butter
Beat 3 eggs with a table spoon of whole milk. Heat a cast iron pan to medium heat. Add 1 tsp of butter. Pour egg batter into the pan. Wait for 30 to 45 second. Add cheese, sausage. When the egg batter is about to set, fold in half. Add more cheddar cheese on the top.
