三位个性不同的美女在纽约合租公寓作香闺，分别实行她们的钓金龟大计，但当她们面临最后的抉择时，还是把爱情的价值放在金钱上。这部由尚．尼古拉斯哥导演的浪漫喜剧，主题在讽刺女孩子的虚荣和搬起石头砸自己的脚的拜金主义，但却要依赖三位女主角活色生香的面貌和躯体作为吸引观众的手段，本身也充满讽刺性。不过，玛丽莲．梦露、贝蒂．格拉布尔和劳伦．巴考尔的造型与演出的确不错，尤其梦露表现出讨人喜欢的喜剧才华，证明她不仅是头脑简单的性感女神而已。
