Good news!!! Hurricane Ike is heading west and is not supposed to affect South Florida. The official news is as follows:  At the 9:15 conference call this morning, the Hurricane Center and Emergency Operations Center announced that they were standing down for ...with regard to Hurricane Ike.   There are no watches or warnings for this storm that included ...On its present track, Hurricane Ike will totally bypass...The really good news is that there is nothing else to watch in the Tropics, at this moment, so thanks for blowing south Ike.   :)
