两件错误不能使一件事变得正确？

看完电影“完美无缺”，其中一段对话令人深省。男主人公盗窃珠宝以报复害死爱妻的人，女主人公劝告他说是一旦被抓会做一辈子监狱，并且也无法挽回失去的。男主人却坚定不移，说道：
“那句俗话怎么说的？两件错误不能使一件事变得正确？毫无道理！有些时候，为了使事情变得正确，你不得不作同样错误的事。代价么？判我一百次终生监禁都值得！”
