Stargaze

Stars everywhere
when we were kids
and anytime we felt like looking up
even a few shooting stars
should we be lucky
Thirty or fourth years later now
we have to rely on high tech forecast
on cloud coverage of cleardarksky
drive a long way
to hide from light pollution
But still
lying on the grass field
with dew setting down all over us
gazing at the clear night sky
are such a luxury of rare wildness
if we just give us out
for a few blood suckers to enjoy too
