Boiled Asparagus


Prepare Asparagus  

1. Pick the green healthy and crispy looking asparagus. (Asparagus tastes the best during Spring time)

2. Rinse them throughly. 


3. Break off the tough ends using hands. 

4. Cut them into half. 

Cooking

1. Fill the pat with enough water which could cover up all the asparagus  

2. put temperature to high to bring the water to boiling  

3. put the bottom half of the asparagus into the boiling water and cover the pot  


4. wait till it boiling hard (Stearns comes out of the cover) again and put the rest of the asparagus, put the cover on 

5. turn the heat off after the water boiling hard for 1 min  

6 wait for another min, pick out the asparagus using a stainer.


 

Put seasoning gravy (optional)

1. chop 3 cloves of garlic, 2 slice ginger, few Chinese peppers 

2. heat the smallest pan with 1 table spoon oil,

3 turn off the temperature when the oil is about to turn to smoke. 

4 put the ginger in and stir it to spread out

5 put the pepper in 


6 put the garlic in and stir it to spread apart 

7 put 1 tablespoon soy sauce  


8 pull on top of the cooked asparagus (Try to spread it over the asparagus)
